A few helpful answers.
What does BPM mean?
BPM means beats per minute. Here, BPM always counts quarter notes: 60 BPM is one quarter note each second. Start slowly enough to play a phrase evenly, then build speed.
How does 6/8 work?
There are six eighth-note pulses in each bar. At 60 BPM, each pulse lasts half a second. The first pulse is accented; subdivisions split each pulse further. This tool does not use a dotted-quarter BPM convention.
When do rhythm changes take effect?
Time signature and subdivision changes apply at the next bar boundary. Tempo changes affect the next unscheduled pulse; a short audio buffer of up to 100 milliseconds keeps the timing stable.
Why can’t I hear a click?
Press Start to enable browser audio, check device volume, and turn off Mute. Bluetooth speakers can introduce latency. The session pauses when you hide the tab; return and press Start to continue.
